Ted Menadier, MBA
Cannabis, Marijuana & Hemp Expert Witness
I provide independent expert witness services in cannabis, marijuana, and hemp matters for attorneys and insurers nationwide. Over the past five years I have been retained in more than 35 litigation matters and insurance claims, with testimony experience in both state and federal courts at deposition and trial — in civil litigation, insurance claims, and criminal defense matters.
My combination of cannabis industry experience and formal business education allows me to analyze the cultivation, operational, and market factors relevant to a wide range of cannabis and marijuana disputes, and to communicate those findings clearly and credibly to attorneys, courts, and juries.

What I Do
Cannabis and marijuana litigation requires an expert who understands how the industry actually works — how crops are grown, what they are worth, how businesses operate, and what industry standards look like across a range of cultivation environments and market conditions. My background spans cannabis and hemp cultivation across indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse environments, combined with formal business education including an MBA from the University of Denver. That combination allows me to address both the technical and financial dimensions of cannabis and marijuana disputes from an informed industry perspective.
I work with plaintiff and defense counsel, insurers, and businesses involved in cannabis and marijuana litigation. I am available for case review, expert reports, deposition testimony, trial testimony, and suppression hearing testimony in all jurisdictions.
